The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation


All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is slightly dusty and presents slight oxidation marks in places, mostly to the recesses. The irregularities to the surface such as the slight deformations, small dents and areas of flaking around the metal elements are inherent to the artist's working method. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
